Journey of a Kumquat: Week 121 and Week 34.5 - Video catch up and new beds

Not a lot going on in the house of Drake as we are catching up on sleep. Jet lag hit us all very hard this go around (well, except Sophia who is sleeping very well. I hope this sustains itself). Charlotte had 3 nights of being up for 3 hours (two to five- the bewitching hours). So on Monday and Tuesday we kept her up all day except for an hour and that seems to have helped her sleep through the past two nights. Matt is traveling in Macau this week.

Miraculously it is almost 8 months and I am still breastfeeding! Maybe once a day the baby gets a couple of ounces of supplement but seriously who knew I would have lasted this long?

Sophia has four teeth - I tried to capture this but it is not easy as she is not an upper tooth smiler (but a frequent smiler thankfully).

Our kind neighbors graciously gave us TT's old bed which Charlotte now sleeps in. She loves it! The first night she slept in it (when she woke up at 2) she was crying because she could not get down. So I went in and she was standing up (there is a safety bar that she could easily climb over - LOL). Sophia is now sleeping in Charlotte's old crib without the Cocoonababy (it is recommended that the babies sleep 4 months in this... we made it almost 8!).

Charlotte is knowing her colors very well these days - all of those times singing that Signing Time Rainbow song has paid off! Charlotte is so funny listening to that song - she will ask you to hold her cup (or whatever she is holding) to free her hands for clapping!

Charlotte had her nails painted by Aunt Becky in Madison... and loves it! Imee is recoloring here in Singapore.

Charlotte said to me yesterday "Bucky is digging! All the times!" Being verbal is great, but with verbalizing comes the occassional whine.

So nice to be home though! So so nice...

I figured out this week how to upload things from my phone to the internet! Oh technology. Some oldies but goodies below...
