Sophia is coming with us but Charlotte is not. I hope Char will be ok with this (and I also hope I will be ok with this too). We are going on a cruise out of Venice through Greece, Croatia, and Turkey for a week and a half for Matt's work.
Sophia learned how to shake her head NO this week (with intense vigor I must say) and started walking in a walker AND spoke her first word, Mama (ok really maybe it isn't mama. She has kind of been babbling of late and says mama, dada, and yaya. But she said mama with intention today. Looking squarely at me!). I ask her who is yaya and daddy and Bucky and Charlotte and she will look at the right person/dog. So clever!
Sophia is 8.83 kg and 69 cm and is around 50% for weight and 25% for height at ten months.
Charlotte's hand is better (though she was complaining a week later about pain). Monday she came into our room in the morning and asked where daddy was. I told her he was at work and then she asked 'is he in Macau?' She must know that he usually goes away after she spends all day with him on Sundays.
Charlotte asked for a high five this morning and then an elbow bump. O the things she learns in school!
