We got a Christmas tree - it is a work in progress. I have never had a tree before and did not realize that there was branch fluffing involved. Matt brought out all of these ornaments from when he was 4. He apparently sold these mice ornaments to his grandmother (always the entrepreneur) that she gave back to him (which she was happy about as they were scary mice). It was cute. We have more to do. Pictures next week.
I forgot to mention last week that Sophia was so cuddly on the night boat ride over and then she threw up three times (twice on me). Poor girl. It was a rough boat ride. We will try not to do another night one (or only ride on Hydrofoils).
The newlyweds came for a brief visit - where Mathieu ran the half marathon in Macau! How many people can get married and run a half marathon all within a week? They were understandably exhausted.
We went ice skating last week! There is a postage stamp sized rink outside of Venetian. You can bring your own skates. Charlotte is pretty good and confident and that is cool.
We have an impressive skate collection:
Happy newlyweds:
Mathieu has the greatest faces with Sophia!
Sophia got a ton of these candy canes (from the Venetian staff) which basically constituted her lunch last Sunday. Even a random stranger saw her and gave one to her.
Skating!
Here is Charlotte reading Olivia and The Missing Toy book - she has a great memory!
And a really fun video of Sophia and Charlotte dancing to the Beach Boys! Char takes this dancing business seriously! I think she thinks she is in a K-Pop video...
I am calling Charlotte's dance moves the Serious Kung Fu Booty Shake
