Week 217 and Week 129.5 - Weekend Away

I was away for part of the weekend last weekend - away to Hong Kong to get my hair done (a Keratin treatment this go around - as my friend Jeong-A says - you have to process your hair either curly or straight while living in SE Asia) and hang out with a couple of lovely gals from my office.  It was fun to be a girl and talk girly things for a while.

Sophia got her hair cut this week and it is SO cute.  It just makes her whole countenance round and sweet.

We have also given her some of these World Cup magnets that we have gotten from the gas station of various soccer players faces.  She calls them all her 'uncles' and plays with them when she eats.

Charlotte sang as part of a school event honoring School volunteers.  She was such an enthusiastic singer!  She certainly has a future in winning some karaoke competitions.  That reminds me - I need to pull out that machine...

Sophia is also a good singer - she has this whole twinkly eye flirt with the audience thing down.  I need to get a video of that soon too!

Uncle Luigi came for a work visit and Charlotte just wanted to see him all weekend.  She says,

"I like Uncle Luigi."
"Why?"
"Because he has no hair!"

Charlotte got on the phone with Uncle Luigi and said "You have no hair! (with of course the unabashed enthusiasm of a four year old)."  It is nice to have no filter.
