Week 218 and Week 130.5 - The season of swimming pools

Matt went to a stag 'do in Manila over the weekend and the girls and I took the opportunity to stay in  Macau and audited the Sheraton Pool.  I suppose we live in Macau and feel like we are so starved for entertainment options - but in fact the pools are nice (thank goodness for casinos and their non gaming offerings).  We really liked the Sheraton - lots of pool options - though not lots of food options after 6PM.  So what was meant to be a lazy evening dinner poolside ended up to be a trek to McDonald's - where I realized the girls eat more peaceably than in any other context.  Oh, the placating power of Chicken McNuggets!

We learned that Char's school buddy Jenny was moving on Tuesday - and we found out about it on Monday!  So we went to our local pool - Ocean Club, and bought Jenny and Jason dinner and they played in the playroom.  We ran into Aarian and Divya there too - a little Ocean Gardens reunion.  We are sad to see Jenny and Jason go (across the border to Zhuhai).
