Week 193 and Week 105.5 - Kool and the Gang and Sophia's birthday! Part 2

Sorry - this is going to be a photo post as we are leaving town tomorrow (getting out of the cold and getting back into Singapore/Indonesia - yay) and I still have lots to do before we leave!  Sort of a re-hash of last week - but with new pictures.

Sophia had a birthday party at her school - unfortunately we could not come.  She looked very unhappy but I realize that she sometimes just looks that way.

This is my 300th blog post!

Kool and the Gang  / AmCham Ball:

Here is Kool.  He sang the next night at the Bellini Lounge at Venetian at 2 in the morning then ate at the Team Dining Room for lunch the next day!

Week 192 and Week 104.5 - Kool and the Gang and Sophia's birthday!

Sophia celebrated her second birthday this week!

We bought her a secondhand Radio Flyer bike - it was beautiful and perfect and hardly used.  She loves it and it is a bit small on her so it should last her a good long while.

She said to us as we tried to put her coat on today. "No cold.  No need."

When Sophia gets upset and frustrated she says 1, 2, 3 under her breath in Mandarin.  It is so funny!

I am in the process of weaning Sophia and it is not going well.  She goes to bed crying every night.  I try not to help her.  This is sad to me but I realize it is short term as she is like her mother and change averse. 

Last Saturday we saw Kool and the Gang at the AmCham ball and it was so fun.  I love Kool and the Gang and after seeing them live I love them even more.
