... especially for Charlotte. She is sleeping like a champ - thanks to the tizzy of activity and the unrelenting heat (giving Singapore a run for its money!). She is even sleeping in short car rides! She is waking up at 10 AM most mornings. We need to run her more in Singapore!
Speaking of sleep - this is Charlotte's first year watching Grandpa Bob's fireworks. She sat with her aunts on the pontoon and went out on the lake. She watched one firework go off... then saw the back of her eyelids as she slept through the rest of the show! Kye narcolepsy at its best (this from the mom who used to fall asleep in dance clubs).
Charlotte also is having gastrointestinal issues Up North. Sigh. Always an issue there.
We went up to the Northwoods and spent 3 days with the Drakes. We met little Ruby who is 5 months younger than Sophia and maybe 5 oz smaller! Geez do I have a small kid (but proportional - I am always checking!) Sophia may win the 'smiliest baby visiting Wisconsin from Singapore' award. She is also sleeping like a champ.
We also were able to catch up with Kris Theiler in Tomahawk again! Great to see her around every 4th.
We got Charlotte her first haircut yesterday - the best $5 spent! She was a good sport - as she normally is. A moving target but a good sport.
Sorry my blogging is curt and choppy... we are in the midst of last minute wedding preparations.... I hope I can craft a more cohesive update next week.
